Guys,
It's my first TIG writing, & I choose this special occasion to say hi to you all! :) Happy Chinese New Year to those celebrating this holiday: China (of course), Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong... Any others?
Very festive atmosphere now. Lotsa fun, juicy gossips, or "li xi" in Vietnamese or "hong bao" in Chinese, have u guys heard of it? That's a small sum of money which we put into little red envelopes to give to kids! This "li xi" stuff is believed to bring good luck for new year. It's something very "Oriental", or "exotic Asian"...U can't imagine how gleeful they kids are when they show & boast to each other the "li xi" they get from us...
2002 is an amazing year for me, when I say goodbye to a part of my youth and graduated from uni. Also for that year I realize how popular I really am, *strutting around*, cuz i received lotsa cards (not ecards) from many places, which is just fantastic, 'cuz it's been quite a long time that I didn't send nor receive any letter nor post any card to anyone. Isn't it nice to see others are still thinking of you? That's really the icing on the 2002 cake for me!
Did you guys make any new year resolution yet? I used to have quite a few resolutions every year, but I couldn't work them out,so my new year resolution now is to finish all the previously undone new year resolutions I made.
Chuc mung nam moi! Gong xi fa cai! Happy new year!
